TAN Fund Application
The Traditional Arts Network (TAN) Fund will provide grants of up to $1,000 to individual artists, ensembles, and community organizations based in Maine.
Traditional arts are rooted in and reflective of the cultural life of a community. These vital artistic traditions are passed from generation to generation, most often within family and community. TAN supports the work of traditional artists preserving a cultural heritage from all countries of origin and indigenous communities.
The funding may support a range of activities including paying artists to perform and teach, purchasing advertisements for events, video recording and production, photography, website design, transportation expenses, purchasing instruments and equipment, and rehearsal space.
